Reelection? I think so!

I am running for reelection! I think I will win! I am confident! and I think that I have done a great job helping the people, which is what I like to do! Not only is it my job, but it is also, what I enjoy doing! 

Avoiding new punishments!

Yes! The government managed to put on a cap on the prices of the insurances, and now insurance companies will not charge as much! The state people that have been hit with disaster, do not have to be punished again by having to pay higher insurance costs! This is great for the people! Although the insurance companies are not happy with this, they know the government will pay any extra costs that they need to cover any more damages. Is the government happy? No! But what's important? Making sure the people are happy!

Higher costs for insurance?

Because natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, and floods have been striking, insurance companies want to raise the costs of insurance in order to help pay for previous damage and be ready for the damage to come. Should the government put a cap on these costs so they do not rise? I think so! 

Student protester?

Journalists now have information stating I was a student protester and a draft dodger. Are they questioning my past?!?!?

I have nothing to hide, I've got nothing to fear!

Education might be popular

The decision was made! The national teachers' idea to reform the state-tests was approved! I've gained quite a lot of media attention through this, which I like! And now the senior constituents agree that this was a good move that was made! 

No child, is left behind!

School teachers want a state-wide assessment for school children in the country to be reformed. What's the problem? The senior constituents disagree with this. Hopefully, we will be able to begin the reform of the tests and maybe even do away with the tests!

We all get a chance

All in favor of immigrants becoming legal? Yes! What's even better? The votes were counted and the constituents in favor of the bill against immigrants, have been quieted! 

A bill against immigrants? No way!

So I recently found out that the Senate is considering a bill that would institute severe consequences for businesses or people that hire illegal immigrants. The large agricultural economy in my state depends on the labor of these immigrants. I think a bill that would grant immunity to illegal immigrants already in the country is a lot better than the bill the Senate is considering. I'm definitely against the Senate's proposed bill. Immigrant workers are vital to our community, and they all deserve a chance to achieve the American dream through hard work! 

About Me...and some problems we're facing

I am from a state full of young families and elderly voters, who have come here to avoid the cold weather. A major part of our economy is agriculture, especially citrus agriculture. I am just completing my first term as senator, and I am running for office a second time. There is a high population of illegal immigrants in my state. The cost of insurance, energy, and gas is rising fast.
